Once his guests have arrived, the host accuses each person of murder. Unable to leave the island, the guests begin to share their darkest secrets--until they begin to die.

Chritie's "ship of fools."
By achsa
This is an Agatha Christie classic thriller; the characters' fates is obviously pre-determined; nonetheless, the reader is "hooked" and it's impossible to let go till the very end. From the setting, an isolated remote island, to the invitation to come visit that forlorn spot, to the characters who must follow a horrifying destiny, the plot is irresistible. In a way, the reader becomes an active participant not only in trying to figure out how each one of the invited guests will ultimately find their end but our absorption is so complete that at crucial points in the novel we ask ourselves how we can avoid their destiny. Christie's plot is unravelling slowly but surely with the reader ultimately understanding that s/he (we) are indeed travelers on that ship of no return. Very highly recommended.

Agatha Christie's Best Mystery
By Lynn B. Welch
I first read this novel as a middle school student; I am now a retired teacher. I purchased this book for my 13-year-old-grandson, who had to complete a group project on a mystery novel. He and his study partners enjoyed the book. The book's appeal is timeless. While there is violence--it is a murder mystery, after all--there is not the graphic, gratuitous violence found in many novels. I plan to re-read it. (I did not receive any compensation for this review. I purchased the product on my own.)

"Guess Who-Dun-It!"
By Nancy L. Silk, Author/Reviewer
From history's well known author comes a story which she found was the hardest novel she ever wrote. Why? Ten people have to die without the murderer being obvious. All ten people have something to hide, something to fear, as they gather together in a lonely mansion on Soldier Island (previously published as Indian Island). They had been invited by the host, but he fails to appear. One by one each reveals their evil secret ... and one by one ... they die. An intriguing, suspenseful read. As a teenager I read all the Agatha Christie novels in our local library. If you've never read her books, read this one. She's the British expert of mystery, suspense, and crime solving.
