About the Author
Simon Scarrow teaches at City College in Norwich. He has in the past run a Roman History program taking parties of students to a number of ruins and museums across Britain. He lives in Norfolk, and The Eagle and the Wolves is his fourth novel featuring Macro and Cato.

Fourh book in Roman historical fiction series. This story more interesting and complicated than the previous books in the series. As usual, the characters are interesting and the battle scenarios bloody and exciting. I will continue reading the next book.

This is another great book in the Roman army series by Simon Scarrow. Scarrow knows the life of the Roman soldiers and makes you feel like you are there. Well worth your money.
